I think should be

seems a bit more even. 30 seems to be when you get "in" or familiar with a certain forum. just thinking out loud.

could you guys keep my post count at 0 forever. I'm too cool for post count. lol.

30 would not be bad but i think they set it up for bots so they could delete the names with 0 posts.
1 post on the board makes us know its a real person so then they would be jr members newbies are more for the guys that ask one question and never come back. jr members stick around.
this is just speculation of course.

the idea is to identify bots,  hence why we request you to post once after you join or else your account is likely to be killed.
