Well, the longer I have this car the more it morphs.
I love my Velocity Red Grand Sport RX8.
I drive it daily and year round.
I gave my father my rew powered ranger and bought this in November for my B-Day.

I cut out the plastic grill and lined the edge with nidoc, cf'd the crash bar and mounted my front plate on it (yes I get jealous), put some racing beat oil cooler guards, added an Autoexe CF front lip and some nifty cf brackets.

Why is that your favourite? Why did you rebuild the engine, btw?

It is my favorite because I have used it in my past rotaries and I have seen the effects during rebuild and it doesn't smell as bad as the others. My car idles great with it and my fuel pump sock looked fresh when I inspected it a month ago.
I rebuilt my engine because I wanted to port it. I also got some ceramic seals put in. Mostly for reliability reasons. Warranties don't last long when I buy cars, which is why I stopped buying new.
Sohn install at CHIPS in 2 weeks!

Uh, because it's there, Chad has to mod it. ;D
I'm looking forward to the day he runs out of body parts to convert to CF, and he builds up a pair of carbon fiber rotors. :o

I brought the 8 up to Grand Prix of Mosport for the 2nd time that I got invited by Mazda Canada to join a Mazda Corral for ALMS. Super fun. The track is very fast. Got to ride in the pace car also, pretty cool viewing option. VERY exciting finish.

Yeah I've had that experience at an ALMS event up at road america, got a free weekend pass plus 20 dollars in food vouchers for the 3 day event because of a rotary car club meet n greet at their corner.
