Well I got my self a 1980 rx7 last November from down south. She's not perfect but their is no rust. I have a lot of changes I would like to make and I will try to post as many as I can. Here are some pictures to start and more to come.

So, my car has an open diff., 3.909 gear and rear drums. The 83 GSL has LSD, 3.933 gear and 9" disc brakes. I got lucky on craigslist and found this.

This is now ready to put on, but it will have to wait til I got time.
I sandblasted everything, primed and painted, new oil seals, new bearings, new brake hard and stainless breaded lines, parking brake cables, I rebuilt the calipers, hawk pads, and slotted rotors.
The rear calipers cost over $100 each but I went with the rebuild kit $40 and does both sides. Racing beat wanted $245 plus shipping for rear rotors, I found a place that is much cheaper(less than half). http://brakeperformance.com/index.php (http://brakeperformance.com/index.php) I will let you know how they work as soon as I drive with them on.

Home made sanding box. Not the best but got the job done.
