Nothing wrong with that. Actual a great design. I'm working on a table of my own too, with rotary themes.

Love the table.  There were some rotory shaped tables in a mcdonalds i went to one evening so i instantly called the wife and told her.  She thinks i may have a problem, but i just see it as awesomeness lol

I would be too tempted to cut a hole in the center and cover it with a piece of glass.

You could screw a lazy susan turn thing into the center of it to put food on.
