: Rotary specialist?
: Deyarbee August 22, 2016, 05:33:07 AM
I'm in search of a rotary specialist. Anywhere from flint area to SE Michigan. I need a compression test, and would like to go to someone who really knows these engines.

Also, has anyone had luck with using seafoam to decarb?

You could always use a piston compression tester as well. http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/rotary%20pages/comp%20folder/comp.html (http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/rotary%20pages/comp%20folder/comp.html)

I had pretty good luck with seafoam in my last rx8 motor. Got about another year out of it before it started smoking really bad from oil blowing past. It took about three treatments in a row before it stopped loosing power when it was warm.
