Really neat article I found online, I really didn't know about the differences between these two terms.
Basically a spoiler distorts and organizes unstable air, while a wing is designed to create downforce.

Also, the FC is actually a bit superior to the FD in the Aerodynamics department. Figured I'd share this with you guys.
