Well in a couple of weeks, i will be transitioning to a new position here at work. Be nice doing something different. I have been in the MGS Team for so long, it will be nice working on a new challenge.

Congratulations, I think... What's the new position?
-
I interviewed for a couple of positions, but the guy that wants me, i did not directly interview with. I will find out in a bit. He messaged my boss back on the 20th of Dec that he wanted me. Since I was on 3 week vacation, i didn't learn about it until today. No other information was given to me. I would like to think it is for the first position that i interviewed with which would be great. If it is that one then i would be in charge of the communications integration into a new vehicle platform, If it was the second one then I would be in charge of a single project managing the integration of it into the Abrams Tank. I opt for the first one. Knowing my luck its neither and i get a surprise lol.

Congrats! I'm still on the hunt, have some leads but no offers yet :(
I wish I went to school for engineering, everything I want to do seems to req a BSME or something related, even if I have related experience.

So go, you are still a young fella!!!

sooo much debt...
-
I bet you I win, but most of it is student loan debt...
-
I cant find anything by mid summer I'm going back to school.

easier to pick up an engineering internship that will transition into a full time job after graduating. Then maybe the job you work for will pick up the cost of some of those classes which will reduce the debt you would owe in the end.
-
I have thought about that too.
The first year or two would be hardcore since I already have 2 bs degrees so I wouldn't need any electives, then apply for co-op to finish the rest.

Looks like my planned transfer date will be the 28th of this month and it will be working the singular project for the ABCT (armored Brigade Combat Team) that was my second interview i had. Should still be a challenge and will include more travel, which i secretly have missed the past few years.

that sounds... very interesting. Congrats!
