Been talked about for quite a while. I read they were talking a 2014 release with some of the skyactiv stuff, if the economy picks up. Pretty cool lots of potential there. I want one. Now.

I so want that engine.  I had actually emailed mazda about it in august asking when I could purchase it.  I could settle for that in my 2nd gen.

Any increase in power?  Would be nice to have a RX8 with, heck, even 250hp at the crank compared with ~215-220 now.  275-300 would be just about perfect.
