I disconnected the radar detector, problem solved!  We'll see if it still goes off once I have it plugged into the cigarette lighter.  Thinking to fix that and the tach today.

I got the cigarette lighter fixed and no more false alarms on the radar detector.

I thought I had the Tach fixed by doing a little solder work. However after a couple days of driving it went back to its normal bullshit.  I think I'm going to pull it all out again and see about replacing the capacitors in the tach.

Also, I have been getting after the air bags. When I pulled the cluster I noticed someone took the air bag bulb out.  Then I noticed that the air bag control module was unplugged.  Once I put everything back I am getting a 7 flash code which is implying something wrong with the passenger airbag.

Another issue I am tracking down is the horn not working which I am starting to believe is somehow related to the airbags.

I didn't even know USDM FD's had passenger airbags until now, it's just the 93's that had driver airbag only. Sucks the tach is screwy again, was hoping you had fixed it.

It made 304 at 12 pounds, I turned it up to 14 and it made the 324. Figured i would leave it at that rather than get greedy and blow it up.

That's not bad! What type of Dyno was this on? wondering the AFRs too. With the right tune, it's got a lot more in it I'm sure.

This was on a Mustang Dyno. Also his dyno although realistic it is one of the lowest reading around.

Im surprised the peak power is only at like 6600 rpm

I am pretty happy with the calibration. Might get a few more HPs leaning it out but it's probably not worth the risk. If I wanted to do more I'm thinking I would need more injector. But again, we're talking about an engine that made 250 crank and is now more like 370 or 380.

Definitely an improvement without a doubt, yeah it's at a safe level for the fuel system. Did you get a Wideband setup in it?

Yeah, I got my wideband setup in it. I also swapped out the boost gauge for one I trust and replaced the boost line too.

I finally fixed the airbag system and put everything back together.  It turns out the control/ diagnostic module that was in the car was for a 93.  The original must have went bad so they replaced it but got the wrong one. I finally found a good used one for a 94 after searching over a month.

I upgraded my older FC commander yesterday. It involved desolderimg the old screen and soldering in a new OLED one. I also had to solder in a resistor to get the contrast right. I wish there was a black background screen with white letters but this works nicely for now. Much easier to read.
