RotaryBC:
When it was for sale in the description:
Will not start, oil overfilled, gas in oil
I changed the oil with MotorCraft 5W20 blend, it wouldn't warm start at all, I saw froth on the dipstick, after returning from Groll69 house.
I changed the oil again, the oil was not frothy, and used Valvoline 5W30, it would warm start then.
When I returned from High Octane was when I found the gas in the oil, I had 80 miles on the oil change.

I never thought about 4 port to 6 port. will research on RX8.com

RotaryBC:
I have never seen an engine out of an 8.
Are the oil injectors in the housings or intake?
I would think I needed a 6 port engine and a PCM with 6 port tune. Not to mention AT or 6Speed.
I would think the tuning of these engines have been figured out, but the post on RX8 don't sound like it.

ITSWILL:
the injectors are in the intake manifold just before the engine keg.

Everything I have seen about tuning used a Cobb access port which is no longer available new.

murz:
Yeah, i'm not sure what would be involved, but if it's too much of a hassle then probably not worth it. But if it were me, I'd try and get as much power out of an RX8 as possible. You'd definitely need the intake system, ECU, and all that jazz.

I thought the oil injectors were on the rotor housings?

ITSWILL:
oops, yeah they are. I was thinking fuel injectors
